Redeemed
How can I live with myself?
I see the mistakes, the faults, the weakness,
But in this chaos, a light rises,
And with the hope of forgiveness, I find happiness.
I look at the foolish things I’ve done,
Each wrong step, each careless word,
But an infinite grace gently surrounds me,
Leaving room for peace, pushing aside the abyss.
Offered by the One who knew injustice,
Bearing on His shoulders the weight of our wrongs,
He forgives despite everything, He forgives still,
Transforming my shame into a gentle justice.
Filling me with peace, with unspeakable joy,
My heart, redeemed, finds its shine again,
And in this love, I stand tall,
And today, I live, free and steadfast.
