Good Morning all. We are starting a new month here a the house. A house filled with dreams, hopes and goals for the authors who have joined us. Many people have asked why I do this. Let me tell you a story. Long ago and far away, no, we are not in a movie, someone helped me when others doubted. Someone believed I could when others said don’t bother.

In this cut throat world of publishing, authors need a place they can come to where they are cared for, loved and appreciated. Where they can live their dream no matter how long it took them to get here. Will they sell millions of dollars worth of books, I doubt it, but anything is possible and all is highly probable. I always think about two of my favorite authors, Edgar Allen Poe and Shakesphere. Neither one of them were fully appreciated until after they were long departed from this planet. Poe died penniless disowned by his family, mourning his dead wife who he loved dearly. Shakesphere’s work has been doubted and torn apart for centuries, folks have even doubted he wrote them even to this day. However, they are some of most sought after plays to perform both by professionals and theatre groups.

I say all that to say this. While we may never become over the top big and while we may never make millions, we can say we left behind a piece of us.

Just ask Sheri Ann Wilder Richerson, who has waited so long to see her dream in print, Andrea Van Scoyoc who has been writing for years, then stopped and now is back, Jason Wolfgang Gehlert who stopped for a while and is now back, Peggy Engeler who never thought her work would see the printed page. Alta Desinord and Issac Jones who is new to the arena and still in shock. Kim Carmichael who almost gave up. Then we are adding Mary Brotherton‘s book to our kindle and audible group. Finally there is my yours truely. We are building this company one author at a time. We are giving these wonderful authors a voice. Those that know me, know when I believe in something, I am totally committed. I work it day and night to make it work for the cause. I appreciate my authors, I appreciate the fact that they took a chance with me. I appreciate the fact they also see the vision.

This business is not for the faint of heart. One must be thickskinned, willing to make sacrifices and willing to just dive into a world that many still do not understand. The writing of the book is the easy part. For someone who has been in this business a long time, I can’t tell you the sleepless nights I have had.

So, thank you for your support, for my authors. Please continue to share what we post, this is how we have to market their work. We do not have a multimillion dollar budget. Some days we dont’ even have a ten dollar budget. But we do it. We make it work. To my authors, thank you for allowing me the honor of creating a home for your books.
