While this little book is fiction. It is based on a true story of a little thirteen year old girl named Remonda. She has asthma and died at 13 years old from an asthma attack. Her parents selflessly donated her organs to others one being a 12 year old girl who had about two weeks to live. Author Mary Brotherton brought this little book to life.
