Today I was finally able to publish Darlene Williams, PhD little children’s book The Healing Real Life Adventures of Eily Rose Garten: My Seahorse Muse. This is the first book in a series. The book was illustrated by Karen Lee. I am so proud of her. I am very proud of Darlene. It has been a journey. The book helps a child heal from loss. It tells the story of Emily Rose through her eyes as she tells the loss of her great grandmother and her encounter with a seahorse in the ocean. Darlene really did have an encounter with seahorses on the west coast of Florida and she uses these encounters to tell the story through Emily’s eyes. Included in the price of the book is an email to order a beautiful lapis luzali bracelet with a seahorse attached. There is also fun facts about seahorses and the history of the lapis stone. There is also a guide to help parents with helping their child heal from grief and loss. I am really proud of this book. The proceeds from the book will go to Equusolutions which is a non-profit that Darlene helped start. It is a place where child and adults work with horses to help healing.
