Roy Owenby lives with his wife, Nita, in Franklin, North Carolina, and is a graduate of Appalachian State University. He has two sons, Mark and Kevin and eight grandsons. He is a U.S. Navy veteran and has worked primarily for electronics companies selling products to various governments. He loves to travel and has visited eighteen different countries. An avid hiker, he has walked thousands of miles and camped in many of America’s beautiful places. After retirement in 2010, he decided to try his hand at writing. He has written five self-published books. He has also written several short stories and numerous articles. He has written in several genres. This is his second murder mystery and a third is in the works.
