The fourth of 9 children, Darlene grew up in a small town in Michigan, and ended up in New Jersey, where her husband was from and where she raised her son and daughter. She presently resides in Florida, discovering the life of a retired Nana, expanding her interests in reading, writing, and not arithmetic.
