Linda Ryan is the author of the Taste of Tradition cookbook and The Genealogy of Eva and JR Smith. She commenced her professional career at the APD as a police stenographer and continued to be engaged in law enforcement throughout her subsequent 45-year career in human resources and academia. She is a consummate coffee drinker, traveler, gardener, and needle artist.
