This Morning’s live was to make folks aware there are scammers out there trying to sell our authors books for hundreds of dollars. It was also a reminder that we are not just an afterthought when you are wanting to be published but yet you do not accept our polices and throw things into the mix after sending in your work. We are a professional group of folks, I personally have been in the business for over 20 years. 10 years before that I was rejected so many times, I wanted to quit. But God had other plans it just took a minute. Just because we do not charge our authors to make their dreams come live, it does not mean that we will accept being taken advantage of. When that happens we will not publish that author. You are either all in or all out. We have standards and being considered as substandard is an insult to me both personally and professionally as well as an insult to the authors we do have. I would rather have the authors I have than those who just think we are there when they are just shopping.
